I can’t remember if I already mentioned this, but I snagged a table and a chair earlier this week that were being tossed out. My school didn’t give me a table to eat with so I was pretty happy to grab one. Now I have more surface area to cook with! I’ve been looking for a table being tossed out for 1.5 years and both the chair and table cleaned up nicely, so I was pretty happy.

Today on the way to dinner (I needed a break from my house) I saw a bicycle next to the trash heap, with a really nice bicycle seat. I considered snagging the seat, but I wasn’t entirely sure the bicycle was trash. On the way back from dinner I saw two ajosshi’s snagging the seat. I missed my chance by about one minute!

I guess that makes the moral of the story, snag the trash you want before someone else! Don’t hesitate.

The place I went to for dinner today was a 3,300 W barbecue place. However, the price has been jacked up to 3,800 for a basic barbecue, but rice and lettuce are both extra. So. It wasn’t really 3,300 W it ended up being like 9,000 W.

Furthermore the servers were really brisk with me, even though they weren’t that busy. I didn’t know how the place worked, it was serve yourself banchan and water and such and every time I got up to try to figure out how the place worked I was kind of shooed back to my seat. So – I won’t be going back there again. =P
