Tandy is recovering from his neutering. Getting him home from the vet yesterday was traumatic for both of us, but he seems to be doing well this morning. The vets gave me some medicine for him, which he didn’t like very much but I think I got most of it down. He doesn’t seem to be angry with me, even after I force-fed him medicine, since he gave me lots of kisses afterward.
I’m all kinds of worried about getting him home to America safely now, but that’s something I can’t take care of until later. I’ll be working with the Chung Wha Animal Clinic when I do take him home, so hopefully it will all go really smoothly.
I’ll write about my experience at the vet later.
I spent all day yesterday in Itaewon wandering around, shopping a little bit and eating yummy food. I also went to the doctor to get meds to kill my sinus infection. I didn’t get rid of it the fist time and it’s been creeping back up on me (10 days of antibiotics FTW!). I had lots more fun adventures yesterday, which I hope to divulge later.
I don’t have time to write a lengthy post now, but I wanted to make a recommendation.
Based on my experiences with the vets at Chung Wha Animal Hospital I highly recommend them. I doubt I would have gotten such thoughtful service in America.
Also, eat at Tartine. Go. Eat. If you like pie at all you owe it to yourself. It’s heavenly, the staff is really sweet, the inside is cute and Chef Garrett is very friendly. Go!

Don’t worry, bringing a pet home is easy. Brought my cat back to the States a few years ago. All you need is a Health Certificate and Rabies Certificate. Ask your vet about this. If I remember correctly, the Health Certificate needs to be done not more than 10 days before you leave. And the rabies at least 30 days before.
Then you go to a special office at the airport, they look over the paperwork and have a quick look at the animal. You pay 10,000won, if I remember correctly, and you’re good! Depending on the airline, you can have your bunny in the cabin with you too! I flew NW and they were very good to us.
